I am an ex New Yorker who still misses the vibrancy of the city. I seek out the humor in every day life and relay it through my stories in the hope others will appreciate as well. I love to write about growing up with my fantastically unique Irish mother whose memory inspires me every day. Although she is no longer with us, her antics are an endless staple for my tales. I currently live in Connecticut with my husband, two sons and toy fox terrier Anabel.

  8. I drove through CT this past summer and I have to say your roads and overpasses really are quite lovely. Years ago I got to spend a wee bit of time in Mystic. Further back I visited cousins. One of these days I’ll have a proper visit.

    1. Yes, we are fortunate to live in a beautiful area of CT. Rural in feel with well water and many stone walls and much open space. Mystic is a charming little town. Another special one to visit is a town called Essex, so pretty and home to a wonderful old historic inn called The Griswold. I love the name of your blog and your photographs are stunning. Thank you for liking mine!
